Health Forum - Questionnaire
HEALTH FORUM - BARRY O'FARRELL'S CHANGES QUESTIONNAIRE
Click on the above image to access the questionnaire.
Minister Pearce (Minister for Finance and Services) proposed the Industrial Relations Amendment (Public Sector Conditions of Employment) Bill 2011 earlier this year. This was passed in June this year despite a growing level of concern over the possible ramifications, which will affect many of those employed in the public sector including: nurses, midwifes and teachers.
Wage increases may be restricted to below 2.5% (when inflation is just over 3%), arbitration rights are eliminated, and rights such as annual leave loading, flex leave, lunch breaks and training and study leave are at risk (according to Unions NSW).
This questionnaire is designed for, and primarily aimed at, students studying in the schools of nursing and midwifery, and education. The purpose is to gauge whether students in these schools were previously aware of the proposals and for students to indicate interest in the upcoming Health Forum.
The Health Forum will be held on Monday 17th October, 5pm, Nursing Theatre.
