CLUBS AND SOCIETIES EXECUTIVES SURVEY
Club Executives - here’s your chance to provide some feedback on your experience so far in running a club. The form gives you the option of stating your position or remaining anonymous, so get surveying and help NUSA help you be the best club you can be at UoN.
Subsidy and Booking Forms
NUSA has various resources available to clubs to assist in the running of activities and events, such as marquees, BBQs, tables, a portable stereo and a projector. There are also various bookable spaces around campus available to affiliated clubs including the NUSA building (after-hours) and the NUSA meeting room. In order to book these resources, or to receive reimbursements for events, please use the forms below. Please note that a deposit is sometimes required when loaning equipment to ensure its return in an acceptable condition - allowing for the continued use of our resources by others.

Free Printing Allowance
NUSA-affiliated Clubs have access to an annual free printing allowance of 500 A4 pages and 50 A3 pages per year. You can place a printing order in advance through the NUSA Club Booking form (recommended) or come into the NUSA building.
NUSA-affiliated Clubs and Societies, just like all UoN Clubs and Societies, operate under SSAF funding. Using this funding, they are eligible to receive $1500 per annum for equipment, activities and events. The funding is designed to assist with maintaining a financially sustainable annual plan. Developing a plan helps avoid the risky approach sometimes taken by some clubs of only planning event to event with continuously limited resources and funding. Clubs are encouraged to take a sustainable approach which considers their year as a whole: how the aims and objectives of each event relate to the cost (or lack thereof) per member – one event may be free to attract new members whilst the next may generate income or fund-raise to allow for future events to be paid for.
Standardised AGM and Reaffiliation Period
As part of recent changes to the C&S Rules and Regulations, there are changes to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and re-affiliation period for NUSA Clubs. Your club is now able to hold its AGM and elect its new Executive members from the beginning of Semester 2 until 30th November of that year. You may still hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) at any time throughout the year to deal with any matters that need to be brought to the attention of your members. This may be constitutional changes, changes to procedures such as banking, or officially filling executive vacancies.
Clubs approved for affiliation will remain fully affiliated until 31st November each year (which is also the last date to submit re-affiliation and financial subsidy documents). Once your club's re-affiliation is approved, it will be extended until 30th November the following year. You can ensure all your documents are up to date by completing the (re) affiliation form.
