Yoga is an ancient practice with well-established physical and mental health benefits. It improves posture, joint mobility and muscle tone, it alleviates stress and fatigue, it improves focus and mental clarity, and it aids in sleep. It is also overwhelmingly our most requested activity, and we want to ensure it is something you all have access to as a method of self-care. 

We’re very fortunate to have teamed up with NUPSA and partnered with Ali Yousefi (Alex), a PhD student and experienced yoga instructor, to run free weekly yoga sessions for undergrad and postgrad students throughout the year. These run in the Clubhouse beneath Bar on the Hill, every Tuesday from 4pm til 5pm and every Wednesday from 3:30pm till 4:30pm. It’s a healthy, relaxing and productive way to end your day, so be sure to take a break from your studies and come along. 

Bring a yoga mat, blanket or towel, get comfortable and find the inner core you never knew you had! Numbers are limited to 15 per session so make sure you book your spot early.
